Hi, I’m Tisha—author, chocolate enthusiast, professional encourager, and unapologetically Barely Tolerable.

I write books with heart, bite, and a little bit of heat—intelligent romances and twisty stories that explore the beautiful mess of being human. When I’m not writing, I’m probably elbows-deep in a bowl of brownie batter, mentally editing my last conversation, or offering unsolicited life advice disguised as “blog content.”

I’ve spent the better part of my life wrangling kids, side hustles, and an ever-growing to-be-read pile. Somewhere between PTA meetings and entrepreneurial misadventures, I realized that writing was the one place I felt most myself. So, I grabbed my laptop (and a handful of dark chocolate chips) and started telling stories—some fictional, some painfully true, and all flavored with a healthy dose of honesty and humor.

My blog, Barely Tolerable, is a love letter to anyone who’s ever felt like they were too much and not enough all at once. It’s a place for the women who are holding it together with dry shampoo and blind faith, for the introverts with loud brains, and for every gloriously imperfect human trying to laugh through the chaos.

If you’re here for polished perfection, I should warn you—I trip over air and occasionally yell at my own Wi-Fi. But if you’re here for real talk, honest writing, and the occasional chocolate-fueled rant, then friend, you’ve found your people.

I believe in the power of good stories, kind hearts, and letting people be a little weird. I believe the best kind of wisdom is hard-earned. And I believe that everyone deserves to feel seen—even when they’re a bit of a hot mess.
